Let's take a moment to give our brains a round of applause.
Because when we talk about health, or we research which supplements are best, our priority is often what benefits our body.
But we think the brain is the unsung hero here.
Your brain is the library of all the great things that have ever happened to you. It's your in-house historian. The biopic filmmaker in your head. Graduation, your first love, the moment you found out you were going to be a parent - we're talking The Big Stuff. And your brain is the trustee for all of it.
It's also the loving protector of some lesser-known gems...
The memories you didn't even notice were happening. Enabling you to remember details you didn't even know you knew. A spontaneous rendition of the theme tune from The Fresh Prince. The name of that straggly stray dog you hid in your tent at school camp (Bruce).
It's those little snapshots of time well spent.
The brain surprises us all the time with the little memories it does recall. And then sometimes, with the ones it doesn't...
The "Where did I put my keys?" moments. The "What did I enter this room for?" times. The occasions when you're mid-conversation, grappling with that word on the tip of your tongue... and it just...disappears.
Those moments can take you by surprise too.
So while we back up our files to the cloud, pay for antivirus software, and store hard drives in safe places,
What are we doing to protect our brains?
At Mind Lab Pro®, we fiercely believe the key to overall health starts with looking after your brain. Regardless of what life stage you're at. Studying, building your career, or enjoying your retirement. Nutrition for your brain is key.
Because it's not just about living longer. It's about living better for longer.
It's about protecting long range brain function. Which is why Mind Lab Pro® was designed with 11 carefully researched nootropic ingredients. Selected for their synergistic benefits. To promote and protect long-term healthy brain function whilst also supporting day-to-day peak mental performance. The formula's been fine-tuned, perfected and scientifically proven to work.
Yep, we're peer reviewed and scientifically proven.
Before Mind Lab Pro existed, there was us. And we were like you.
We'd heard about the game-changing benefits of these so-called 'smart drugs'. Supplements offering mental clarity, an improvement in performance and focus. An extra boost to give us the edge. Who wouldn't want a piece of that? But we were disappointed with what we found. Including added stimulants, energy crashes, anxiety, and burnout.
Smart drugs didn't seem so smart anymore.
So we set out to create our own. Something superior, cleaner, and smarter. And it took... a while. But when we got that formula fine-tuned, backed by science, and perfected - we knew Mind Lab Pro® worked. And we wanted to prove it.
We approached the University of Leeds in the UK to set up an independent study to investigate the efficacy of our product. The brief: Does Mind Lab Pro® do what it claims?
What are the studies?
Our first study was published in February 2023.
An advert was put out to recruit participants for a pseudo randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled study. A gold standard clinical study.
Participants are assigned to different groups in a randomized way, whilst still ensuring both groups are evenly matched in terms of age, gender, and socioeconomic background.
Both participants and researchers are unaware of who is receiving the actual treatment and who is receiving the placebo.
One of the groups (the experimental group) receives the actual treatment - Mind Lab Pro®. The other group (the control group) receives a placebo.
A total of 105 healthy individuals between the ages of 21-70 took part in the first study. Those participants were split into 2 groups. The experimental group were given 2 capsules of Mind Lab Pro® to take every day, for 30 days. The control group were given the placebo.
The first study was on information processing.
Study 1: Information processing.
Information processing: A person's ability to identify a stimulus, select an appropriate response, and translate that response into an action.
If you think about it, these are the decisions we make all day, every day.
Stimulus:The vehicle in front traveling slower than us.
Appropriate response: To pass the vehicle.
Considerations: Our speed. The speed of the car in front. The car behind. Oncoming traffic. And the conditions of the road.
Action: To safely overtake the vehicle in front.
Sports: E.g Tennis
Stimulus: Our opponent hitting the ball over the net towards us.
Appropriate response: To position our body correctly to return the ball.
Considerations: The speed and spin of the incoming ball. The position of the opponent. And the boundaries of the court.
Action: To hit the ball accurately back over the net.
The information processing tasks.
To measure how well information was processed, both groups were given 3 tasks to complete. One based on simple reaction time (SRT). One based on choice reaction time (CRT), and one based on anticipation time (AT).
The simple reaction task is a straightforward test that doesn't require complex decision making.
The choice reaction task is hugely relatable to real life situations. Participants dealt with multiple stimuli before responding. They needed to rapidly process information to produce a response at an appropriate time. So this task required more complex decision making.
The anticipation task requires the individual to predict or anticipate a forthcoming event and react to it before it actually occurs.
The tasks all demand focus, attention and rapid decision making.
Each group completed each task before and after the 30-day testing window.
The results from the tasks concluded:
- Mind Lab Pro® starts working in just 30 days.
- Mind Lab Pro® enhances focus, attention, and decision-making in just 30 days.
- The anticipation task showed a 47% average reduction in information processing time.
Mind Lab Pro® is scientifically proven to enhance focus, attention, and decision-making after as little as 30 days.
But we didn't want to just stop there.
Our second study is on the quality and efficiency of memory.
